When working with physicians or healthcare professionals, Patsy enjoys the varied personalities of those she "meets" while assisting with one of the most important decisions they make - identifying a practice opportunity that meets their professional goals AND the personal desires of their families.

Patsy began her career in healthcare search 10 years ago following a move from Silicon Valley California to the California Sierra Nevada Foothills. She had previously worked as a Legal Administrator in law firms ranging from 10-50 attorneys where a portion of her time was spent recruiting attorneys. Patsy's background in the legal field and her training as a Social Worker provide her with an ability to work with clients and candidates in identifying and articulating those values important in making decisions regarding practice options.

Her goal as a Search Consultant is to facilitate discussions between client and candidate and to act as a sounding board to both in their evaluation of available options. Patsy's approach is one of honestly and warmth. She is straightforward with candidates and clients about potential reservations and whether the match is a "good fit." Spending the time to get to know clients and candidates is crucial in assisting their evaluations of each other. A physician's satisfaction in identifying the "perfect practice" gives Patsy great pleasure.

As an avid water skier, Patsy and her husband co-directed a week-long camping/water ski camp for high school students for 10 years. She and her daughter also directed a Mom-Child camping trip for 8 years. Being a home winemaker is Patsy's most recent passion. As a long-time YMCA supporter, she has served on the Board of Directors for a number of years and spent a great deal of time in fundraising activities. During the summer, Patsy spends time at their Lake Tahoe retreat - enjoying her preschool aged grandchildren, hiking and boating.
